The pressure’s increasing. Will you speak?
It’s no secret that darkness is rising: terrorism, economic uncertainty, moral corruption, and religious persecution are growing in the world, and there doesn’t seem to be a safe place to hide.
As the earth lurches toward crisis, what is God’s response? The Lord is not silent, and His arm is not too short to save (Isaiah 59:1).
In this dark hour, Jesus is calling forth messengers. He is marking the hearts of men and women, young and old, with a burning desire to proclaim His Word (Joel 2:28).
So how is the church to respond?
Together, we are called to become His voice. And this voice—the prophetic spirit dwelling in each believer—has power to shift things.
The psalmist says,
The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon. (Psalm 29:4–5)
The power to shake, and shape, nations dwells in the Church. But it requires us to act—first in prayer, which is talking to God, and then in deed, which includes speaking to others.
We invite you to find your voice.
Instead of shrinking back in fear, or surrendering to confusion, join the call to be a messenger of truth.
Your audience may be one or two people, or 10,000, but your voice is needed—and important.
In God’s presence, we encounter Jesus, the One with all power and authority (Matt. 28:18). As we hear Him, He empowers us to speak His Word to others. And as we speak what He says, things shift: souls are saved, bodies healed, and demons flee.
Just ask evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, who walks in signs and wonders and has seen tens of millions saved.
Reinhard, who spoke at Onething 2015, says, “Holy Spirit told me, ‘My Word in your mouth is just as powerful as My Word in My mouth.’ The power is in the Word of God.”
